In other news, I really like photography now. Those who have been here with me since forever know by know my interests evolve over time so, if i can convince myself to use here like iused to, i'll add in some separate album categories but dont hold your breath. love u guys <3

Im not a "big" cosplayer or particularly well known, but i love what I do and i'm good at it where i'm from, which is the small Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago. I am on a constant journey to push my craft further. I am a competitive cosplayer with a high success record in competitions and currently am etching out my own business in the cosplay world, using my creative gifts to bring out the cosplayer in others. Anyway, honestly, earlier this year, I was rather depressed, and found it hard to come all the way here to update anything. Regardless, I have been extremely active for the year. i've made between 10-13 cosplays for the year, done several professional engagements with a popular local theatre chain. Organised group promos for one big convention and then my own personal cosplay persuits. It's been great. I will upload the pictures I have, but actually need to do many photo-shoots to document everything! I will soon! I love you guys!

New plans! Current project: commissions (eek!) 
I am working on a Minato Namikaze and Shino Aburame costume commissions. Getting them off the ground has been tougher than i thought since the raised necklines proved an interesting patterning challenge for me. I am really excited about minato's jacket and actually started that first. Bad move...!!! Turn's out that the jacket is also something of an attention whore and there is a lot of details to go with it so working on that has slowed my progress, 

My own project: I anm working on my star suit Donna Troy cosplay! Finally'
Well....technically i am not working on it YET, I am still gathering the last my materials haha. I have ordered a number of swarovski flatback crystals to make that suit shine real nice and i am waiting for that to arrive. Meanwhile, i still have to make and test patterns for the suit, source a new wig (which is also going to get blinged) and prob get a bit or worbla or friendly plastic in stock to help with the finer details. ''

Other than that, i have started a new job and i am lucky because the hours allow me some amount of time to work on cosplays, so, i am excited to see how the next couple of months will unfold. 

Oh! and my facebook page is now over 1000 followers! so, that's pretty cool because I sort of thought that I wont be so lucky. It's a small number of people but it's heart warming to know that people have appreciated my cosplays. So, i've really got to work on getting photo-shoots organised because my costumes just barely managed to get photo documentation. hrmph.

Hi everyone!

I can't believe I have been on this site for 8 years now. I feel old, yet i'm still young! DeviantART has really seen me through a lot of different phases of development in terms of my interests and my most recent and ongoing one seems to be related to costuming and cosplay. As such, i think it's time i moved away from my old dA name "thetenten16" (guess what age I made my dA profile????? lol) and rebranded according to my preferred label for my cosplay work. I really intend to take on some more serious projects soon and i really dont want to end up with two different names circulating around the internet (as fun as that could be). It was great while it lasted....holding on to my old name made me feel like time could stay still, but the reality is that it does not and sometimes we have to be willing to let go in order to move forward. 

Anyway, I will be changing my ID to Lyonegra or LyonegraCosplay, haven't decided yet. It's likely to be the former though. <3 <3 

also, yeah i've finally gone premium..... now it's called "core". Give me a break! lol
